Exploration Utility

Kinich's Elemental Skill is an extremely versatile tool for exploration, being one of the most flexible travel options in the game.

When the Elemental Skill is held down, Kinich is able to aim freely where he grapples. This grapple possesses one of the highest vertical travel distances in the game and can be used to easily cross gaps.

When used on the ground, Kinich is able to freely move around while aiming his grapple until it is automatically released if still held after 5 seconds. If used in the air, it will temporarily suspend him mid-air for up to 5 seconds while he aims.

After using the grapple, Kinich's next Normal Attack input in the air will be replaced with a unique mid-air attack, this can be used to stall his horizontal aerial movement, or gain slightly more vertical distance.

In Natlan Kinich can consume phlogiston to cast his Elemental Skill an additional time in mid-air, allowing him to cover even further distances.

In addition, Kinich is able to use his Elemental Skill to mimic the abilities of Yumkasaurs, being able to interact with devices such as Coilgrass Sigils, Spores of Repose, Flamegranates and Phlogiston Explosive Barrels. Anything a Yumkasaur can do, Kinich can too!
