Team Setups

Kinich's team compositions can primarily be divided into 2 archetypes:

Burning: The most consistent option to trigger his Nightsoul Point gain passive, Burning teams aim to keep a Burning aura on the enemies to constantly generate Nightsoul points.

Burgeon: Burgeon teams benefit from Burgeon's higher damage compared to Burning in trade for the guaranteed Nightsoul Point consistency of Burning. In addition, these teams are able to make use of Hydro characters such as Furina and Xingqiu etc who can provide significant buffs or damage. Being able to take advantage of these can make Burgeon teams an appealing option.

It is also possible to run Kinich in teams without these reactions, however his Nightsoul Point generation is significantly reduced in these teams, and relies more on teammate synergies and damage.
