Tips & Tricks

General

• It is recommended to spread your investment over multiple characters instead of focusing on only a few, as outside of the opening cast you can not guarantee that you will obtain them if only a few are invested into.
• Defense Sequence challenges only appear during Act 4, where all Battle events will be defense.
• Bonus and Star challenges are not mandatory, if their conditions are too difficult, they can be skipped.
• As the boss enemies can be viewed beforehand, saving characters that match well into them can help progress the most difficult Acts.
• Save enough Fantasia Flowers to ensure you have sufficient characters to complete stages, but there is no need to hoard them, and spending some on Wondrous Boons and Mysterious Caches can be highly beneficial!
• Regular Mysterious Caches are free, and it never hurts to pick them up.

Team building

• Teams with 1-2 damage dealers and 2-3 supports are often smoother to play than teams with too many damage dealers.
• Pay attention to the enemy lineup and listed Advantages for a stage and bring characters who meet their conditions when possible!
• It can often be beneficial to bring more supports than damage dealers in your Alternate Cast to fill out team slots.
• It is not required to always use the best characters you have available, and using a decent team and saving stronger characters can be beneficial.
• Taking Advantage of any Wondrous Boons obtained can make this easier.
