Principal and Alternate Cast (Characters)

After selecting a difficulty, it is time to choose the characters who will participate in the Performance.

When challenging the Imaginarium Theater, the initial Principal Cast will consist of the Opening Cast of that season, which will let you pick between trial versions of these characters as well as your own, but each character can only be selected once.

The Principal Cast refers to the characters that can currently be selected when preparing for a battle.

The Alternate Cast is the set of characters that can be randomly added to the Principal Cast during a Performance, when starting a Performance, a number of eligible characters must be selected, with the number being based on the difficulty chosen.

Members of the Alternate Cast can join the Principal Cast in two main ways:

• Completing Battle Events.
• Selecting Companion Events.

Supporting Cast: The Supporting Cast feature allows players to add 1 character from a friend to their Alternate Cast during character selection. However, a person can only have 15 friends borrow a character from them each season - so make sure to lock in your preferred support for the season as soon as possible!

• The same Supporting character will be selected during the current Season when starting a new Performance unless replaced, allowing you to keep using them without expending additional support usages.

Setting your own Supporting Cast: During each season, you can set up to 7 characters into your Supporting Cast that your friends can view and borrow, excluding any characters in the Opening Cast.

• Note that while you can set any character to your Supporting Cast, your friends are not able to see or use characters that do not match the current season's elements or special guest list.
